The Boar Award | Haresh Bavadiya & Liz Endicott

February’s winner of our internal employee recognition program, The Boar Award, was not one, but two, phenomenal Waterloo employees – Quality Assurance Technicians Haresh Bavadiya and Liz Endicott! Haresh and Liz work so seamlessly together, and with others — we wanted to make sure they both received the recognition they deserve!

Haresh is our most senior technician. This means he was responsible for training basically every QA technician currently on staff. He’s big into passing on knowledge. He’s a patient teacher, effective communicator and a great listener. He’s very reliable and works well in busy situations. He stays calm no matter what.

Liz is an extremely supportive team member. She has volunteered to work on different shifts if that’s where she’s needed. She’s an effective collaborator and builds meaningful relationships both in, and outside of, her department. She’s a real problem solver and uses data to find solutions versus placing blame. She learns from mistakes and uses those learnings to implement better plans for the future.

I love the versatility of being able to do a variety of tasks.

What are you a big fan of?
Friends & family, festivals and barbecue

Waterloo Amber

What’s a fun fact about yourself?
If I had to pick between living in the suburbs, or a rural area, I would choose a rural area. I just love nature.

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Waterloo crew?
I enjoy that I’m always on the move and staying connected with the great people here throughout departments.

What are you a big fan of?
The cottage, croissants & tea and thrifting

What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I recently took up rock climbing and am hoping to take this hobby outdoors in the summer.
